Photography plays such an important part in promoting the adoption of good materials for sustainable development. I have been looking at the promotional materials of a few exhibitors at Ecobuild.
So many exhibitors are great at showing function but many seem to underestimate the importance of texture and form in their marketing material. Yes, specifiers need to understand function but aesthetics are absolutely as important in the built environment so it is critical that promotional materials effectively show the texture and form of products and materials as well. To represent these 3D qualities on a 2D page or screen is what good product photography is all about.
