Frank Harris minaret

Art of a space

I have been enjoying the work of Slade graduate Frank Harris who’s practice involves the creation of unique spaces that sit close to the point of crossover between architecture and sculpture. He has recently been commissioned by the Sharjah Art Foundation and produced an intriguing minaret with multiple camera obscura – so a nice cross-over with photography as well.

As Frank is the younger son of my long term collaborator Steve Harris I have had the pleasure of seeing his practice mature. As a young artists at the beginning of his career I think we can expect some exciting things to come. You can see more at http://frankbuildsthings.tumblr.com/
