Shooting glass

I have been enjoying photographing highly reflective things and invisible things recently. The work of the fine artist Hassina Khan who works with glass is held in the national glass collection and regularly exhibited around the country.

Drawing inspiration from issues of identity, Hassina creates work based on words in Arabic script. The challenge is often to capture the lettering on a surface that is either highly reflective or totally transparent or sometimes both.
