When the Vertas Grounds Team came to me with the idea of producing a timelapse video to show their transformation of a large construction site into an established educational landscape it was clear another solution would have to be found. As the school would be in operation for much of the programme period, having unattended cameras on site would raise all sorts of safeguarding concerns for the school and besides, the site was vast, access was tricky and the lead-time impossible.

I suggested a short video to show the work that goes into creating an instant landscape on such a scale and the dedication with which Vertas bring the design by the Concertus landscape architecture team to life. I hope you enjoy it.

PS If you do have a timelapse or any other project in mind I’d be delighted to hear from you.
